Founded in 1937 in Massachusetts, as a workwear brand, Madewell has always had denim as their main focus. After being bought by J. Crew group in the early 2000s, the brand grew into being J. Crew’s outgoing younger sibling. Through all its evolution, Madewell has kept denim at the front of everything.
